Science and Policy
Science plays an important role in policy making across levels of government. Therefore, an integral part of my work involves supporting policy and decision making process with scientific information, and volunteering in policy platforms.
I was the National Representative for Nigeria to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) of the United Nations, in the Ad hoc Technical Expert Group on invasive species. You can read more about the discussions of the expert group here: https://www.cbd.int/invasive/forum2/
